Questions, answered
- Is it really free?
- Yes — pass alerts are free forever. No account, no app, no credit card. One confirmation email (double opt-in) and you're set.
- How many emails will I get?
- Only for selected bright passes over your location — the ones worth stepping outside for. Some weeks bring several viewing opportunities, others bring none. Reminder times vary with each pass.
- What counts as a bright pass?
- Passes where the ISS climbs well above the horizon while your sky is dark and the station is still sunlit — bright enough to spot with the naked eye, sometimes outshining every star in the sky.
- How do I unsubscribe?
- Every alert email carries an unsubscribe link — one click and the reminders stop. You can also resubscribe here anytime.
- Do you share my email address?
- No. Your address is used only to send the pass alerts you asked for. See the privacy page for details.
